so, I watched it the other night on line... not bad... origins of the cylons and all that

anybody else watch it? if so, thoughts?

I'm tempted to merge Caprica discussion with BSG... I saw it and I liked it BTW. But we've only seen the pilot and Season 1 doesn't start until 2011, which is a LONG time...

It was shit. None of it made sense, there is only so much "I know it's not possible now, but could be in a couple of years" type of thinking I can afford to these types of programmes, and transferring some young ones memories/feeling/blah blah into a toaster is takin the biscuit. I mean how the feck can you just, log onto google, download a bit of information, and kaboom, you got yourslef your very own clone of a loved one. If that was possible, I know I'd download me a nice carmen elecktra.

I have it at home but haven't had time to sit down and watch it yet. But I'm looking forward to it.

I watched it with no preconceptions, actually I didn't expect much would be more accurate, I was VERY surprised and Pleased. The cast is PHENOMENAL and the concept is better than expected. I think John did a mistype last I heard they were aiming for Early 2010, that is not to say 20011 won't happen :lol:

I loved it. Much better than the last couple seasons of BSG.

I loved it! It was nice to see the first Cylon say "By Your Command!"
Awesome! And with James Marsters in it playing a baddie (see the other thread I started), CAPRICA has to be a must-see SyFy show!

It has potential, but I thought it was pretty.... fantastic. Ya know... they can place a human "soul" into a machine but they still have "old" technology.
