I love Pushing Daisies but this clip I don't know what to make of it.
I love the sweet innocence and fun of this show but this clip...I don't know if it's the music or the way the clips are all put together but it's giving a different feel to it a little more serious and intense. I hope they don't change it to that, I hope it's just the way this clip is put together.

A convent?
A gay coroner?
This show is perfect.
It does for fairy tale romance what Middleman does for comic books.

I have to admit, when I first saw the previews for S1 I wasn't all that interested. Luckily, it premiered on a night that I had nothing in particular to do... and I've been watching ever since.
My DVR is getting overloaded, as of late.

Oh no that part is fun, I love the zaniness of this show. I meant there just seems to be a more serious element to it in this clip like the part where her aunts seem to find out she's not dead and I wasn't sure if they were going to kill off Kristen (the bell scene) and have him bring her back too. The music in this clip I don't know it just had a more sinister note to it.

So, let it be a darker, grittier, more realistic Pushing Daisies!

Oh, sure, go ahead.
And take a look at the "calendar" feature on the board.
I have been playing with it, and I am not even sure if other people can see the entries I have made.
There should be "In Plain Sight" listed for Sunday, if my ntries are visible.

I see IPS, but no PD references. Did you post those?

May 10 2009, 08:16 AM
I did not.
Go ahead and see if you can do it.
I think a staff member may have to "approve" non-staff additions to the default calendar, so we should probably have a sticky thread to announce additions so we can do that.
But I don't see why it should be restricted.
It has been a while since I looked at it, so I might have already changed the settings for it so everyone can add, but it needs to be tested and verified.
I just looked and it does not seem to have Merlin added either, which is a 13 episode run, with a second season airing in the UK this summer or fall.
Looks like I left out Warehouse 13 as well.

I think I did it right. Can you see it? May 30, June 6, and June 13.

I checked and can see the one for 30MAY and looked no further.
We need someone else to verify it though.
It did not indicate that I had to "approve" it, but just had an option to make it invisible.
Did you make 3 entries, or use the "recurring event" option?

Recurring event.
The calendar notification just went blank, by the way.

You mean the front page box at the bottom of the page?
Yeah, it should have some stuff in it.
Maybe J-Lar is reading along and meddling?
Nope.
Maybe it is just re-indexing.
That data is there if you go to the Calendar page.

Yeah, I know. But the notification box literally had "In Plain Sight" on it until right before we started discussing how to add stuff to the calendar.
Maybe Bill Gates is fucking with us.

Yep.
I looked at the settings, and it indicated that "recurring and ranged events" should not have been shown.
It could be some aspect of another user adding triggered some misbehavior.
Seems normal now though.

If there is a pattern to the window blanking after an add then it is not a big deal.
