Yeah, it thoroughly sucked. The original film was ten times better.

Man, the original movie scared crap outta me when I was a little kid! Something that turned your blood into dry Kool-Aid mix? The stuff of nightmares!

Definitely good. And I loved the pseudo-documentary style of it. I'm thinking it was one of the first mainstream movies to do something like that.

Of course, that was also pre-sellout (read: Disclosure) Michael Crichton.

I liked the orignal it was OK, and I also liked this remake, fluff that didn't take itself to seriously
