The USA premiere of In Plain Sight last night drew 5.25 million viewers at 10pm.
2.57 million 25-54 year olds tuned in with 2.3 million 18-49 year olds watching.
According to Media Week the viewership was pretty evenly split among men and women in the age demos. The premiere of In Plain Sight outperformed the debut of Burn Notice last year by 32% overall and 17% in the 25-54 demo.
We’ll see if it can hold most of it’s viewers next week when it faces off against the season two premiere of Army Wives.
As I wrote, I really enjoyed the pilot episode but didn’t wind up enjoying the next two episodes as much. Interestingly pretty much every critical review I read was the exact opposite: they hated the pilot but liked the follow-up episodes more.
Maybe the next episodes improve.

It isn't as compelling as Burn Notice so far.
I love Burn Notice.

The 4th ep of IPS is as good as Burn Notice. I am not in love with the mother/sister subplot, but the main action is getting much better.

Oh great. Now it's getting good, and I haven't bothered watching.
