British science fiction writer Sir Arthur C Clarke has died in his adopted home of Sri Lanka at the age of 90.

He lived a very full, successful and rewarding life. He will be missed!

Sad news it's true, but at least his stories will go on. And let's not forget about his scientific accomplishments.

A loss of potential, certainly.
The ways of seeing he opened for me shall ever open new horizons.
I pass some of that to my students... and so, his legacy lives.
