I see the new "self" of Chuck an entire new way of angst-ing Chuck. If he is capable of stepping into "Bryce's" shoes, is Sarah in love with him... or in 'rebound mode'???

Sara wants the simple life-- at least in her fantasies... and dorky nerd Chuck was the sweet, thoughtful, image of that fantasy. If he can be "Charmichael"... is he that guy-- the one that would live on simple pleasures.

He might 'get into Sara'.... but Sara might not find what she hoped.

It has a whole new slew of complications... including new respect from Casey. Or not.

Casting news: ‘Chuck’ gets more Super
September 2nd, 2009 by Cory Barker

Fresh off the news that Superman himself Brandon Routh would be joining CHUCK for a large number of episodes this season, Ausiello is now reporting that Lana Lang is coming abroad as well. Kristin Kreuk, who starred as Clark Kent’s love interest and all-around badass for seven years on SMALLVILLE, will be involved for a number of episodes as well.

CHUCK’s casting run continues it seems. How long until they rope in Gene Hackman so they have a Lex Luthor as well? Good news for Kreuk too, who is way better than she gets credit for considering how horribly her Lana was written on SMALLVILLE.

I've been starting to rewatch the SMALLVILLE's from Season 1 and think Lana is pretty good in the show.
Several years later, the series holds up well because of her and Welling!

Chuck fans rejoice, NBC may want 6 MORE episodes

The rumors get better and better for Chuck fans. First came word that NBC might start airing episodes this fall rather than next March (although October seems out the window at this point). Now the network supposedly wants to increase the number of Chuck episodes it has on order from 13 to 19.
According to TheWrap, two "industry insiders familiar with the situation" tipped them off to NBC's plans. They also speculated that Chuck might return sooner than March, although they put the early arrival in January rather than the fall.

NBC isn't saying anything official, but since all the rumors about the show have been positive lately, it's definitely a good sign for Chuck's vocal supporters.
