Full Version: Vote for BSG at TV Vote!, Don't you want BSG to pass Gunsmoke?
Galactica B S > Battlestar Galactica > BSG and Caprica talk (no spoilers)

Raycheetah
My apologies if I posted this thread on the wrong board; I figure someone will move it, if I did.

A year ago, this past December, Battlestar Galactica (2004) was still a nominee show at Rich Labonte's TV Vote Poll.

Now, BSG is the 5th ranking show on the poll, gaining (v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y) on #4 show Gunsmoke, which just took the 4th spot in the TV Vote Hall of Fame for reaching 250,000 votes:

(Statistics in parentheses are previous day's stats, for comparison purposes)

#4 Show:
Gunsmoke 255,437 (255,022)

Yesterday, Gunsmoke fans voted 415 times (392). They cast 23 more votes than the previous day, 5.87%.

#5 Show:
Battlestar Galactica (2004) 214,369 (213,875)

Yesterday, Battlestar Galactica fans voted 494 times (507), 13 fewer than the previous day, 2.56%.

Battlestar Galactica was the 5th top-scoring show of all, again, yesterday, after Firefly, Buffy, Jericho, and, Bonanza!

BSG is now chasing the Hall of Fame, which isn't all that far off! At current voting rates, we are 35,613 (36,125) votes, and, 72.13 (71.25) days, away from our own spot in the HoF! Keep that in mind, folks, as an achievement worthy of our efforts!

We'll get our next banner, for 215,000 votes, in 631 (1,125) votes, and, 1.28 (2.22) days!

Gunsmoke is 41,068 (41,147) votes ahead of us, and, voting less than we are. Notice that we are closing the gap (today's stat, versus the stat in parentheses, from yesterday). The good news is, we're moving up, again! The bad news is, we're still doing it VERY slowly.

In order to pass Gunsmoke, it will take 519.85 (357.8) days, 1.47 (.98) years, based on current voting levels (yesterday, our vote lead over them was a mere 79 (115)/day). A decrease of 36 votes on our positive voting differential added another 162.05 days, or, 5.4 months, to our time to intercept.

We need to vote more, to increase our daily lead, and, to reduce our time to target. If, for example, our positive vote differential was just 75 higher, yesterday, 154, then we would only need a relatively lower 266.68 days. We can do that, and, better! As always, this figure will continue to fluctuate, depending on how Gunsmoke fans vote, as well as on how we vote.

When the difference between shows is so high, every single vote has a HUGE impact. Is everybody using a vote timer? Download FlyVote by FlyVote. It'll remind you it's time to vote: http://usbmicro.com/misc

So, how does it work? Easy. Use one of the following links, for either the Top 40 Poll (for BSG and related voting fandoms) at:

http://richlabonte.net/tvvote

http://www.richlabonte.net/tvvote

http://richlabonte.net/tvvote/index.html

ALL three links work for voting for shows in the Top 40 Poll, so if you have trouble getting into the site in heavy traffic you can try an alternate address instead. I recommend bookmarking them all, for rapid transition, if you have trouble voting.

...Or, the Nominations Poll (for the Nominee show of your choice, though, Blood Ties (2006) is actively assisting BSG and the other members of our cooperative, and, has great potential to return a kindness with their own votes) at:

http://richlabonte.net/tvvote/nominations.html

You can vote for more than one Top 40 show at a time; just check all the boxes you like, then submit your vote, once every hour. In the Nominations (where Blood Ties is, currently) you simply type (or, C&P) the title of one show into the box, and, submit the vote. You can only nominate one show per hour. Votes are counted per ISP, so, don't go to the library or your office and vote hourly on each computer, or, all votes will be thrown out.

I will post stats here, daily, outlining where BSG stands in the Poll, and, where it is headed. Your faithful Tallymister would like to hope that he is making a meaningful contribution to the cause. If you appreciate seeing these stats every morning, please show it by voting Dark Shadows, and, Firefly, too, as well as Nominating Blood Ties (all of whom contribute votes to BSG), when you vote BSG!

Fresh stats in the morning.

#4 Show:
Gunsmoke 255,818 (255,437)

Yesterday, Gunsmoke fans voted 381 times (415). They cast 34 fewer votes than the previous day.

#5 Show:
Battlestar Galactica (2004) 214,861 (214,369)

Yesterday, Battlestar Galactica fans voted 492 times (494), 2 fewer than the previous day.

Battlestar Galactica was tied with Jericho for 4th top-scoring show of all, yesterday, after Firefly, Buffy, and, Bonanza!

BSG is now chasing the Hall of Fame, which isn't all that far off! At current voting rates, we are 35,139 (35,613) votes, and, 71.42 (72.13) days, away from our own spot in the HoF! Keep that in mind, folks, as an achievement worthy of our efforts!

We'll get our next banner, for 215,000 votes, in 139 (631) votes, and, .28 (1.28) days! Look for it, tomorrow!

Gunsmoke is 40,957 (41,068) votes ahead of us, and, voting less than we are. Notice that we are closing the gap (today's stat, versus the stat in parentheses, from yesterday). The good news is, we're moving up, again! The bad news is, we're still doing it VERY slowly.

In order to pass Gunsmoke, it will take 368.98 (519.85) days, 1.01 (1.47) years, based on current voting levels (yesterday, our vote lead over them was 111 (79)/day). An increase of just 32 votes on our positive voting differential subtracted 150.87 days, or, 5.03 months, from our time to intercept.

We need to vote more, to increase our daily lead, and, to reduce our time to target. If, for example, our positive vote differential was just 50 higher, yesterday, 161, then we would only need a relatively lower 254.39 days. We can do that, and, better!

As always, this figure will continue to fluctuate, depending on how Gunsmoke fans vote, as well as on how we vote.

Finally, Dark Shadows got 414 (428) votes, yesterday. Many thanks to the BSG voters for their support; DS still needs your ongoing help! And, because EKS asked for it, here's a link to the Dark Shadows voting thread:

http://forums.scifi.com/index.php?showtopi...p;#entry4875058

And, now for some good news!

Let's all extend a friendly, BSG welcome to the Nominations voters of Blood Ties! Blood Ties is a current vampire program, whose fandom is struggling, after only 22 episodes, to get their show renewed (sound familiar?). Judge for yourself how good it is by viewing it for free online (use the "Select an episode" drop-down menu to see different eps) at:

http://www.mylifetime.com/on-tv/shows/bloo...od-price-part-1

Blood Ties voters are now joining ranks with us, extending their Top 40 votes to the shows in our family of friends. While it may take a while for the results to show in the daily totals, Blood Ties got a total of 513 votes, yesterday, so, the potentials of their generosity are substantial. Please return their gesture with at least some of your Nominations votes, as well, and, please, view their episodes, free, online at the link above. The more folks who view their show, the likelier that Lifetime will pick it back up, again.

Once you've seen a few episodes, you might also play the online game:

http://www.mylifetime.com/fun-games/games/puzzle/blood-ties

This is another way Lifetime is gauging interest in the show, which, in your faithful Tallymister's opinion, is pretty gorram good! And, if you would like to find out more about the show, as well as efforts to save it, you can look at:

http://tv.groups.yahoo.com/group/saveblood...yguid=322589985

Once again, welcome to the Blood Ties fans; let's give 'em a warm welcome!

#4 Show:

Yesterday, Gunsmoke fans voted 352 times (381). They cast 29 fewer votes than the previous day.

#5 Show:
Battlestar Galactica (2004) 215,279 (214,861)

Yesterday, Battlestar Galactica fans voted 418 times (492), 74 fewer than the previous day.

Battlestar Galactica was the 5th top-scoring show of all, yesterday, after Firefly, Xena(!), Bonanza, and, Jericho! Yesterday, the vote totals took a nosedive across the board; try not to be discouraged, and, look toward tomorrow.

BSG is now chasing the Hall of Fame, which isn't all that far off! At current voting rates, we are 34,721 (35,139) votes, and, 83.06 (71.42) days, away from our own spot in the HoF! Keep that in mind, folks, as an achievement worthy of our efforts!

We got our next banner, for 215,000 votes, today! And, we got it all to ourselves, with seven images.

Gunsmoke is 40,891 (40,957) votes ahead of us, and, voting less than we are. Notice that we are closing the gap (today's stat, versus the stat in parentheses, from yesterday). The good news is, we're moving up, again! The bad news is, we're still doing it VERY slowly.

In order to pass Gunsmoke, it will take 619.56 (368.98) days, 1.72 (1.01) years, based on current voting levels (yesterday, our vote lead over them was a miserable 66 (111)/day). A drop of just 45 votes on our positive voting differential added 250.58 days, or, 8.35 months, to our time to intercept.

We need to vote more, to increase our daily lead, and, to reduce our time to target. If, for example, our positive vote differential was just 75 higher, yesterday, 141, then we would only need a relatively lower 290 days. We can do that, and, better!

As always, this figure will continue to fluctuate, depending on how Gunsmoke fans vote, as well as on how we vote.

Finally, Dark Shadows got 378 (414) votes, yesterday, another casualty of the weekend doldrums. Many thanks to the BSG voters for their support; DS still needs your ongoing help! And, because EKS asked for it, here's a link to the Dark Shadows voting thread:

http://forums.scifi.com/index.php?showtopi...p;#entry4875058

It's alway great to see everyone working together; day before yesterday, Blood Ties got a record 552 votes, and, on a Friday, to boot! Their voters are beginning to take notice, and, asked me to convey their thanks. It takes a while to build a habit, but, I think that they will be increasing their help to the rest of the shows in our little family, as time goes on.

As always, this figure will continue to fluctuate, depending on how Gunsmoke fans vote, as well as on how we vote.

Yesterday was an improvement over the previous day's drop; however, there is still room for further recovery. Today is US Presidents' Day, which means that some voters who regularly vote from work may not be in front of their computers, as much. As a result, daily totals may not normalize until the scores have posted on Wednesday.

Battlestar Galactica (2004) 216,914 (216,343)

Yesterday, Battlestar Galactica fans voted 571 times (567), 4 more than the previous day. That's a great increase, and, I think some credit is due our new friends, the Blood Ties Nominations voters. Please return the favor, if you would!

Battlestar Galactica was the 3rd top-scoring show of all, again, yesterday, after Firefly, and, Jericho!

BSG is now chasing the Hall of Fame, which isn't all that far off! At current voting rates, we are 33,086 (33,657) votes, and, 57.94 (59.36) days, away from our own spot in the HoF! Keep that in mind, folks, as an achievement worthy of our efforts!

We'll get our next banner, for 220,000 votes, in another 3,086 (3,657) votes, and, another 5.4 (6.45) days!

Gunsmoke is 40,398 (40,568) votes ahead of us, and, voting less than we are. Notice that we are closing the gap (today's stat, versus the stat in parentheses, from yesterday). The good news is, we're moving up, again! The bad news is, we're still doing it VERY slowly.

In order to pass Gunsmoke, it will take 237.64 (221.68) days, .65 (.61) years, based on current voting levels (yesterday, our vote lead over them was 170 (183)/day). A decrease of just 13 votes on our positive voting differential added another 15.96 days, or, over 2 weeks, to our time to intercept.

We need to vote more, to increase our daily lead, and, to reduce our time to target. If, for example, our positive vote differential was just 50 higher, yesterday, 220, then we would only need a relatively lower 183.63 days. We can do that, and, better!

When the difference between shows is so high, every single vote has a HUGE impact. Is everybody using a vote timer?

As always, this figure will continue to fluctuate, depending on how Gunsmoke fans vote, as well as on how we vote.

Finally, Dark Shadows got 435 (466) votes, yesterday. Many thanks to the BSG voters for their support; DS still needs your ongoing help! And, because EKS asked for it, here's a link to the Dark Shadows voting thread:

ALL three links work for voting, so if you have trouble getting into the site in heavy traffic you can try an alternate address instead. I recommend bookmarking them all, for rapid transition, if you have trouble voting.

You can vote for more than one show at a time; just check all the boxes you like, then submit your vote, once every hour. You can only nominate one show per hour, at:

http://richlabonte.net/tvvote/nominations.html

Your faithful Tallymister hopes that he is making a meaningful contribution to the cause. If you appreciate seeing these stats every morning, please show it by voting Dark Shadows, and, Firefly, too, as well as Nominating Blood Ties (all of whom contribute votes to BSG), when you vote BSG!

(Statistics in parentheses are previous day's stats, for comparison purposes)

#4 Show:
Gunsmoke 257,687 (257,312)

Yesterday, Gunsmoke fans voted 375 times (401). They cast 26 fewer votes than the previous day.

#5 Show:
Battlestar Galactica (2004) 217,464 (216,914)

Yesterday, Battlestar Galactica fans voted 550 times (571), 21 fewer than the previous day.

Battlestar Galactica was the 3rd top-scoring show of all, once again, yesterday, after Firefly, and, Jericho!

BSG is now chasing the Hall of Fame, which isn't all that far off! At current voting rates, we are 32,536 (33,086) votes, and, 59.16 (57.94) days, away from our own spot in the HoF! Keep that in mind, folks, as an achievement worthy of our efforts!

We'll get our next banner, for 220,000 votes, in another 2,536 (3,086) votes, and, another 4.61 (5.4) days!

Gunsmoke is 40,223 (40,398) votes ahead of us, and, voting less than we are. Notice that we are closing the gap (today's stat, versus the stat in parentheses, from yesterday). The good news is, we're moving up, again! The bad news is, we're still doing it VERY slowly.

In order to pass Gunsmoke, it will take 229.85 (237.64) days, .63 (.65) years, based on current voting levels (yesterday, our vote lead over them was 175 (170)/day). An increase of just 5 votes on our positive voting differential subtracted another 7.79 days, or, over a week, from our time to intercept.

We need to vote more, to increase our daily lead, and, to reduce our time to target. If, for example, our positive vote differential was just 50 higher, yesterday, 225, then we would only need a relatively lower 178.77 days. We can do that, and, better!

We are still receiving help from Firefly, Dark Shadows, and, now, Blood Ties (whose voters have been helping us get and keep our totals over 500, this week). Please reciprocate this friendly assistance. It's not mandatory; it's just the right thing to do.

Yesterday, Battlestar Galactica fans voted 518 times (550), 32 fewer than the previous day. C'mon, Colonials. WE cannot rely on the kindness of strangers! We need to be voting, consistently!

Battlestar Galactica was the 4th top-scoring show of all, yesterday, after Firefly, Jericho, and, Buffy!

#5 Show:
Battlestar Galactica (2004) 218,489 (217,982)

Yesterday, Battlestar Galactica fans voted 507 times (518), 11 fewer than the previous day.

Most shows took the usual Friday drop, reflected in their daily vote totals. We can recover from this with just a little effort, especially if we all work together. Yet, even despite that, and, bucking recent trends, BSG stayed above 500 daily votes. Again, I want to thank our friends, especially the Blood Ties Nominations voters, for their assistance, and, hope that the BSG voters will reciprocate in kind.

Battlestar Galactica was the 3rd top-scoring show of all, yesterday, after Firefly, and, Jericho

Saturday: The new, voting Friday?

A great day for Battlestar Galactica, but, not for some of our friends!

Yesterday was like a stock market crash, on TV Vote. Even Jericho didn't break 500 daily votes, yesterday, and, with a few exceptions, daily totals were abysmal across the board. Hopefully, whatever was at fault will have leveled out, and, we'll see some decent totals, tomorrow. While it wasn't just us, falling below 800 votes for Firefly is not a good trend. Despite the overall plunge TV Vote experienced, yesterday, BSG did very well, relative to the rest of the poll, as did Dark Shadows. Firefly and Blood Ties... Not so much.

What caused all that? I dunno. Some folks were complaining of voting problems on the TV Vote Google group, but, it didn't seem as widespread as all that. We may never know.

Dark Shadows actually advanced its totals, taking advantage of JAG's falloff to move even closer to taking its position. The voting for Blood Ties was... Anemic. BSG did fall below 500 votes, but, still maintained a great parity of position in the voting, yesterday. Remember, the support of several strong fandoms can insulate us from the worst of a bad day, since, while one show, alone, might simply have to take the hit, a show with friendly voting fandoms benefits from some of their strength, as well. Please, continue to support those who support you!

#4 Show:
Gunsmoke 258,793 (258,456)

Yesterday, Gunsmoke fans voted 337 times (393). They cast 56 fewer votes than the previous day.

#5 Show:
Battlestar Galactica (2004) 218,961 (218,489)

Yesterday, Battlestar Galactica fans voted 472 times (507), 35 fewer than the previous day.

Battlestar Galactica was the 2nd top-scoring show of all, yesterday, after Firefly!

BSG is now chasing the Hall of Fame, which isn't all that far off! At current voting rates, we are 31,039 (31,511) votes, and, 65.76 (62.15) days, away from our own spot in the HoF! Keep that in mind, folks, as an achievement worthy of our efforts!

We'll get our next banner, for 220,000 votes, in another 1,039 (1,511) votes, and, another 2.2 (2.98) days!

Gunsmoke is 39,832 (39,967) votes ahead of us, and, voting less than we are. Notice that we are closing the gap (today's stat, versus the stat in parentheses, from yesterday). The good news is, we're moving up, again! The bad news is, we're still doing it VERY slowly.

In order to pass Gunsmoke, it will take 295.05 (350.59) days, .81 (.96) years, based on current voting levels (yesterday, our vote lead over them was 135 (114)/day). An increase of just 21 votes on our positive voting differential subtracted 55.54 days, or, 1.85 months, from our time to intercept.

We need to vote more, to increase our daily lead, and, to reduce our time to target. If, for example, our positive vote differential was just 75 higher, yesterday, 210, then we would only need a relatively lower 189.68 days. We can do that, and, better!

#5 Show:
Battlestar Galactica (2004) 219,489 (218,961)

Yesterday, Battlestar Galactica fans voted 528 times (472), 56 more than the previous day.

Battlestar Galactica was the 2nd top-scoring show of all, yesterday, after Firefly! BSG was the only other show in the Poll to top 500 votes!

BSG is now chasing the Hall of Fame, which isn't all that far off! At current voting rates, we are 30,511 (31,039) votes, and, 57.79 (65.76) days, away from our own spot in the HoF! Keep that in mind, folks, as an achievement worthy of our efforts!

We'll get our next banner, for 220,000 votes, in another 511 (1,039) votes, and, another .97 (2.2) days! Look for it tomorrow!

Gunsmoke is 39,621 (39,832) votes ahead of us, and, voting less than we are. Notice that we are closing the gap (today's stat, versus the stat in parentheses, from yesterday). The good news is, we're moving up, again! The bad news is, we're still doing it VERY slowly.

In order to pass Gunsmoke, it will take 187.78 (295.05) days, based on current voting levels (yesterday, our vote lead over them was a remarkable 211 (135)/day). An increase of 76 votes on our positive voting differential subtracted 107.27 days, or, 3.58 months, from our time to intercept. However, much of that was due to a low voting day for Gunsmoke. We cannot take credit for nor pride in their failure to vote more.

We are about as close as we have ever been to catching Gunsmoke; we need to take control of that trend. In order to do that, we need to vote more, to increase our daily lead, and, to reduce our time to target. If, for example, our positive vote differential was just 50 higher, yesterday, 261, then we would only need a relatively lower 151.8 days. We can do that, and, better!

I voted here http://www.richlabonte.net/tvvoteand I wish you would as well. BattleStar Galactica is fortunate to have 3 fine friends in
FireFly,Lexx, and Dark Shadows, please vote for them as well. You may vote once every hour, for as many of the top 40 shows as you like. You may
nominate a show not in the top 40 once per hour.

Blood Ties is now a member of our friendly group please consider nominating them every hour, I have a prior commitment but I urge everyone who doesn't to Nominate Blood Ties.

We also saw a MUCH improved voting day, yesterday; based on the shows affected, it appears certain that our new friends, the Blood Ties Nominations voters, are making a strong contribution! Please return them their kindness, if you have the Nominations votes to spare.

(Statistics in parentheses are previous day's stats, for comparison purposes)

#4 Show:
Gunsmoke 259,480 (259,110)

Yesterday, Gunsmoke fans voted 370 times (317). They cast 53 more votes than the previous day.

#5 Show:
Battlestar Galactica (2004) 220,052 (219,489)

Yesterday, Battlestar Galactica fans voted 563 times (528), 35 more than the previous day.

Battlestar Galactica was the 3rd top-scoring show of all, yesterday, after Firefly, and, Buffy!

BSG is now chasing the Hall of Fame, which isn't all that far off! At current voting rates, we are 29,948 (30,511) votes, and, 53.19 (57.79) days, away from our own spot in the HoF! Keep that in mind, folks, as an achievement worthy of our efforts!

We got our next banner, for 220,000 votes, today! It was all ours, again, with seven images!

Gunsmoke is 39,428 (39,621) votes ahead of us, and, voting less than we are. Notice that we are closing the gap (today's stat, versus the stat in parentheses, from yesterday). The good news is, we're moving up, again! The bad news is, we're still doing it VERY slowly.

In order to pass Gunsmoke, it will take 204.29 (187.78) days, based on current voting levels (yesterday, our vote lead over them was 193 (211)/day). A decrease of just 18 votes from our positive voting differential added 16.51 days, or, 2.34 weeks, to our time to intercept.

We are about as close as we have ever been to catching Gunsmoke; we need to take control of that trend. In order to do that, we need to vote more, to increase our daily lead, and, to reduce our time to target. If, for example, our positive vote differential was just 50 higher, yesterday, 243, then we would only need a relatively lower 162.26 days. We can do that, and, better!

When the difference between shows is so high, every single vote has a HUGE impact. Is everybody using a vote timer?
Download FlyVote by FlyVote. It'll remind you when it's time to vote: http://usbmicro.com/misc

As always, this figure will continue to fluctuate, depending on how Gunsmoke fans vote, as well as on how we vote.

Finally, Dark Shadows got 465 (453) votes, yesterday. Many thanks to the BSG voters for their support; DS still needs your ongoing help, as well! And, because EKS asked for it, here's a link to the Dark Shadows voting thread:

I voted here http://www.richlabonte.net/tvvoteand I wish you would as well. BattleStar Galactica is fortunate to have 3 fine friends in
FireFly,Lexx, and Dark Shadows, please vote for them as well. You may vote once every hour, for as many of the top 40 shows as you like. You may
nominate a show not in the top 40 once per hour.

Blood Ties is now a member of our friendly group please consider nominating them every hour, I have a prior commitment but I urge everyone who doesn't to Nominate Blood Ties.

One of two possibilities: The Xenites have rested long enough to decide to challenge Firefly for 1st place, again, or, this is just something they cooked up to honor Lucy Lawless' birthday, this month. The date that their votes spiked, two days ago, is very strongly indicative of the latter, as, it was exactly a month before her coming birthday.

Either way, Firefly could use some gusto (and, some votes!) from our friends!

Remember how the daily vote totals sucked, last Saturday? Well, it looks like we had a repeat of that "stock market plunge." Saturday does, indeed, appear to be the new Friday, with depressed totals pretty much across the board, most substantially impacting normally high-scoring shows. I still don't know why that might be, for sure; I did note some reports of trouble voting. Just keep in mind that yesterday's drop should be considered anomalous, and, not indicative of long-term trends, and, we can hope for better things, tomorrow.

Gunsmoke 261,575 (261,246)

Yesterday, Gunsmoke fans voted 329 times (318). They cast 11 more votes than the previous day.

#5 Show:
Battlestar Galactica (2004) 223,410 (222,862)

Yesterday, Battlestar Galactica fans voted 548 times (485), 63 more than the previous day.

Battlestar Galactica was the 3rd top-scoring show of all, again, yesterday, after Firefly, and, Xena!

BSG is now chasing the Hall of Fame, which isn't all that far off! At current voting rates, we are 26,590 (27,138) votes, and, 48.52 (55.95) days, away from our own spot in the HoF! Keep that in mind, folks, as an achievement worthy of our efforts!

We'll get our next banner, for 225,000 votes, in another 1,590 (2,138) votes, and, 2.9 (4.41) days!

Gunsmoke is 38,165 (38,384) votes ahead of us, and, voting less than we are. Notice that we are closing the gap (today's stat, versus the stat in parentheses, from yesterday). The good news is, we're moving up, again! The bad news is, we're still doing it VERY slowly.

In order to pass Gunsmoke, it will take 174.27 (369.08) days, based on current voting levels (yesterday, our vote lead over them was a much-improved 219 (104)/day). That increase of 115 votes to our positive voting differential subtracted 194.81 days, or, 6.49 months, from our time to intercept.

We are about as close as we have ever been to catching Gunsmoke; we need to take control of that trend. In order to do that, we need to vote more, to increase our daily lead, and, to reduce our time to target.

When the difference between shows is so high, every single vote has a HUGE impact. Is everybody using a vote timer?

As always, this figure will continue to fluctuate, depending on how Gunsmoke fans vote, as well as on how we vote.

Finally, Firefly got 871 (799) votes, yesterday; Dark Shadows got 395 (407) votes; Blood Ties got 404 (386), again, affected by the ongoing weekend slump. Many thanks to the BSG voters for their support; our friends, who contribute to our success, still need your ongoing help, as well! Been voting for all my friends. DS has dropped off in the last couple
days. But then I hear that there have been some voting problems.

Long live BSG, Firefly and DS.

Generally speaking, everybody's numbers recovered, yesterday, so, hopefully, we can put that little, weekend downturn behind us, now.

Remember, the support of several strong fandoms can insulate us from the worst of a bad day, since, while one show, alone, might simply have to take the hit, a show with friendly voting fandoms benefits from some of their strength, as well. Please, continue to support those who support you!

Thanks, DSF54!

Aloha, Colonials!

Tomorrow, the missus and I are leaving for a vacation on a small border moon called Hawai'i. We'll be gone for about 16 days, with no expectation of cortex access. So, not only will I be unable to vote, I also won't be posting stats, for that period. The day I get back, or, just possibly, the day after, I'll resume posting.

Meanwhile, if anyone else wants to keep up the main numbers, or, at least, post daily totals (I doubt anyone else wants to crunch all the little numbers for a couple hours, each morning), make yourself to home! We still have goals to reach, standards (500+/day!) to maintain, and, friends to support. I want to come back to see a lot accomplished, okay?

Seeyas 'round the 'Verse! A hui hou!
