I actually think it elevated the terminator franchise, personally.

I don't. Its over-reliance on cliche and continuity holes (forced or otherwise) put it square in the realm of RDM's School of Screenwriting. I've been calling TSCC "Fox's BSG" since the first season, and that season was actually decent overall.

And devolving time travel into just another mode of transportation was most certainly not a good idea.

I'm a big Whedon fan, but really have not been at all impressed with Dollhouse. Oh, I keep watching, but I'm generally disappointed and the finale did not make me think they were going to move beyond really really fun and kicky sex slavery as the weekly topic.

If we can't have both, I would rather have SCC.

Whedon's always been severely overrated to me, but, yeah, if only one show survived, it shouldn't have been DH. However, I'm pretty sure I know why Fox renewed DH, and the decision makes sense to me.

Why did fox renew Dollhouse, I watched it and to be honest it wasn't that good.

I think Joss has spent the last couple of years trying to recreate the success of Buffy, which IMO was one of those rare things where everything came together.

Because of all the Whedonite criticism of canceling Firefly. Should DH tank in its second season (and everyone is betting it will), Fox will rightfully be able to tell all the Whedon fans to STFU from now on.

Yep... and it had the benefit of having a "first draft," which did poorly. Seriously, look at his resume. It's full of blah.

I hate Fox!
