For some reason the first 2 episodes seem to be different than last season. I can't really put my finger on it (different good or different bad? not sure).
Anywho, I'm thinking that the person that killed Hiro's dad and attacked Angela Petrelli is the Boogey monster dude that Molly is deathly afraid of. Also, could it possibly be Papa Petrelli that is the boogey man? I'm hoping that Papa Petrelli shows up sometime this season.
Not really liking Maya, kinda sorta cool concept, but it seems like a rip off of the Black oil/Cancer from the X-files.
Peter's short hair + wet nakedness = HAWT
Main Irish dude is a retard.
I really liked the scenes with the Haitian. I was all "wtf?" when Mohinder's boss
showed up in front of him, but then as soon as Mohinder started talking to Bennet *ding, lightbulb*!

Yeha, this series keeps rockin. I liked the latins, but I dont' have anything to compare with, since I never saw that ep of X files. interesting.
My wife was really *impressed* with Peter Petrelli last ep, and when we was kicking butt this week I expected her to be all excited, but when I looked up, she was asleep in her chair. WTF? How can you sleep through Heroes? Good thing we taped it.

AHA!!! See!!! This is the proof I was looking for that ties into my reply in the sex thread!
Do some house work Homie the woman is so exhausted she can't even keep her eyes open long enough to watch Heroes!

Ahem, in fact, I do some housework (and/or pass it on to the kids to do). I've been busy the past few weeks building a new room for my computer and other hobbies, so my older daughter can have my old room for a bedroom of her own.
Truth be told, my wife has a pretty rough job so I don't blame her for falling asleep. However, she's usually wide awake for Heroes, as that is one show we always sit down to watch. I have sacrificed some Scrubs time (7:00-8:00 each weekday) to play World of Warcraft. We also watch The Office, How I met Your Mother, BSG (of course), Bionic Woman (So far so good), Deadliest Catch...
Not sure why she was so tired that night. It wasn't an unusual day as far as I know.
Yipee! I just remember the Wings start the season tonight!

Not sure if anyone mentioned this yet, but here are some thoughts/observations I have about the season so far
1) Peter is wearing the necklace that the Haitian used to wear, which just furthers everyone suspicions that the Haitian is the result of Peter's memory hole (this is probably obvious to everyone).
2) The things that Peter has been shooting out of his hand, are they a manifestation of Ted's nuclear power? Or another power that Peter has absorbed?
3) Perhaps Suresh is a hero after all. This cure that he carries in his blood, maybe it's his evolutionary leap forward... maybe his blood can even cure all sorts of other diseases? As of right now, I don't believe he has used his blood on someone who was sick with any disease besides the one that his sister, Molly and the Haitian shared.
Perhaps he will eventually cure Maya's disease later in the season...
4) Another thing. Did Kensai heal himself with a special healing power like Claire's or did Hiro reverse time in only a pocket of space like what happened when he almost got shot by the showgirl named Hope?

2.) I think that the stuff Peter is doing might be Telekinisis (sp?).
3.) That would be cool if his ability is to cure diseases with his own blood!
4.) I think Kensai has a healing power like Claire. The producers said there will be Heroes that have the same power. I.E. Nathan and West have the same power of flight.

I wonder how Peter is able to do these things, whereas before, he needed someoen with a gift nearby in order to show his abilities. Now he seems capable of doing them on his own.
Perhaps Kensei is an ancestor of Claires?
I wondoer, though, if these mutations are supposed to be the next eveolutionary step in mankind, then how is it possible that Kensei has powers? Did the abilities go back that far? Was he one of the first? Has it been going on for longer and only a few people back then could do this? Why then, are there so many people now able to do these things, and the sudden interest? If it were a slowly growing thing, then you would think that with all of the millions and then billions of people, science would have noticed and performed tests. You can see it be nearly impossible to hide these abilities from science!
I had assumed it was a relatively new thing, perhaps a few people back a 100 years or so, and there is a new, large generation that recently became aware. How was Claire surprised by her ability. If it was something that she gained brom her birth, then she would be used to it by the time she went to high school. If it is something that you develop at puberty, or adolesence, then how could Molly and the black kid have their powers? Confusing. I attributed it to an event that a certain people were suceptible to.
At any rate, most of them seem surprised by their abilities, so that tells me that they gained them after a time of not having them, so it must be a certain even that causes it. Maybe different for each, but not inherent at birth.

Maybe you were alluding to this, but I think that certain event that causes abilities to show, if they are present, is the whole eclipse thing.
Also, maybe, if they are present at birth, they just haven't built up their ability to use it at will. Kind of like a muscle that they need to train and exercise before they have good control.

On another topic... a friend of mine told me an interesting theory. I don't feel that it's right, but I thought I would share it anyways.
She said that she thinks that the person who's killing the older generation Heroes (Hiro's dad, and the attempted murder on mama Patrelli) is Peter Patrelli, who is either doing it subconsciously (blacking out like Nikki did when Jessica surfaced), or he's being controlled by someone (one of the 9).
This is because the first murder involved someone who could either fly away, or could get up and walk away after falling many stories. Peter can do both these things. Also, for the attempted murder on Mama Patrelli, the person seemed like they were invisible. As for how he's getting back and forth from his "prison"... he could use Hiro's power, teleport over, do his dirty deed, then teleport back to the same place and time that he left.
Again, I don't think this is right though. My main reason is that when Hiro's dad was about to be killed he said, "of all of the them, I never expected it would be you". Seems like one of the 9 he was mentioning before, also, did he even know Peter?
Maybe one of the 9 has the absorption power that Peter has (remember the invisible guy made it seem like Peter wasn't the only one with his type of power).

I'm going to say that I doubt very much that Peter is the one. Not sure who these 9 are, but I'm pretty sure Peter ain't one of them.
I'm curious as to how he lost his memory too. Last thing that happened to him before he lost his memory is that his brother flew off with him. Did they meet the Haitian? Where did Peter get the ability to use powers differently now? Or, does someone else near him actualy have powers they are unaware of??

Peter lost his memory probaby due to blowing up. Wether you can heal yourself or not a blow to the head like that can cause a lot of problems.

I definitely think that the Haitian has something, or everything, to do with Peter's memory loss. (he has the Haitian's necklace)

Now I realize that a blow to the head can do some funky things, I just don't see that as a cause for Peter's memory loss. It's not like reality on a show like this. They do stuff like that for a good reason, not because that's what might happen in real life. His loss of memory is a big deal, and it's for a good reason, that's a fact.
I'm guessing it's the Hatian. Not sure how, but he is the only one that we know of at this point who can do that. On the other hand, perhaps Peter got some of the Haitian's abilities and used them on himself.

Ok, Matt Parkman's Dad.
The nightmare guy, the one who's worse than Sylar...
I think he can take control of people, in a sort of possession like way. It's the only thing I can think of that could be worse than Sylar when he was his worst.

K, turns out, its not a possession thing, but just a mind control thing. ooops

No way he is worse than Sylar. I can't believe they went full circle, and now Sylar is the bad guy for the next season again. Not Nikki, she could have been a cool regular edition to fight evil next to Peter and Hiro.
