They fucked this up in editing, big time.
The screener has 10 extra minutes, and told the story much better than this piece of butchery did. If they are going to fuck the show up on its first outing, I might as well spare myself the train wreck. -------------------- "Science is one cold hearted bitch with a 14 inch strap-on." |

I enjoyed it. Less cheezy than High School Musical at least. And it seems like they are gonna be having some good music throughout the season.

I loved the screener.
So much that the aired edit left me feeling betrayed. They cut the flashback to the 1993 National Glee Club competition. And they cut (I think) Rachel's explanation of her two gay dads. there seemed to be more of a "Wonder Years" kind of voice over in the screener version as well that really did a better job of setting up the story. On the upside, I did like the preview of coming episodes. And of course, it will have what got my attention to the title in the first place: Kristin Chenoweth. -------------------- "Science is one cold hearted bitch with a 14 inch strap-on." |

I really liked it as is but then I don't have the screener to compare it to. It has that element of quirky that I always like and I love musicals and shows with singing and dancing. Thanks for the info!! I can't believe we have to wait until fall to see more.
 It's bad enough waiting a week between eps. Think they really went out on a limb to show this preview, it's something I've never heard done before. It'll be great seeing the "Who's Who" on the small screen. There are some really great contemporary talents out there!! The "Don't Stop Believin'" Promo sucked me in, and didn't let go, I'm a sucker for Journey. The Queen track (my fav!!) in the promo for the season sunk the hooks in even deeper.
