Actually, i was meaning a wiki devoted exclusively to the show, not a wiki entry on the BIG wiki.

Regarding the ratings, what the hell is wrong with this country!?!

Heroes was actually a decent episode. Chuck is still Chuck-like. And Castle kicked ass!

Yet more people watch a celebrity dance contest?

Well, I'm not finding a wiki. Why don't you start one? tongue.gif

And I gave up a long time ago on people and their for-shit tastes.

the ratings system is screwed up anyway. there's like 30,000 (or less) "nielsen families" that have a box that records what they watch & every one person counts as 10,000 or something. and i'm not sure the count all the people who DVR it for later or watch it at abc.com. there's a site called hey nielsen where you can give opinions, but it's currently being "revamped"
so maybe start sending e-mails. here's a place to give feedback at abc.com, you can pick castle as a subject & say that you like the show. (500 character limit)

DVR numbers are eventually factored in.

Nielsen works just fine.
They use wizards.

Yeah. Their lead guy's name is Voldemort.

This entire article is pretty long, so here are some highlights.

As far as return from the dead storylines, that is something soap viewers accept, not something they actively enjoy. When a show has been on for decades and shoots 5 days a week, actors are bound to come and go. Returning from the dead is simply a device necessitated by production demands.

And if anyone is wondering why this particularly put a bee in my bonnet, I'm not really fond of being called stupid, which is unquestionably the connotation behind something like I never realized the Austenites were a bunch of drooling morons.

HOC... I always assumed the Austenites were a rather "high brow" literary bunch... I consider myself literary, yes, but not high brow-- cause I read EVERYTHING even trashy bodice rippers and vampire literature that plays with the mythos of vampire.

The entrance and exit of actors-- and acting being what they do, I would think that folk would be able to buy into the actor creating a new character, rather than the dead/not dead story lines. If Nathan Fillion can be both a doctor, The Hammer, Captain Reynolds and Castle... and he most certainly is... an actor should be given a new character... does he resemble the dead ???? what-sis-name? Use it or not.

Just 'cause I can't watch 'em don't mean a thing but my personal preference. I know a number of folk that are deeply committed. I'm not one of 'em.
On the other hand... I like the character interaction in Chuck... so, according to Darth, I have more than one screw loose.
I'm ok with that.

Ahhhh.... Ray, again, you are so brutally specific. And way too close for comfort. But isn't he supposed to be dead, now?

Last movie hasn't come out yet. That trumps the books.

And reading high brow lit is mutually exclusive from soap watching how?

You know, I really don't want to talk about this again.

Just seen the first two episodes of Castle, I'm pretty sure I've seen those 2 plots before and recently as well.

--------------------
Female Cenobite: "Didn't open the box." And what was it last time, "Didn't know what the box was?" And yet, we do keep finding each other, don't we?
Pinhead: Oh, Kirsty. So eager to play, so reluctant to admit it.
Female Cenobite: Perhaps you're teasing us. Are you teasing us?

Pinhead: Two minutes. Two centuries. It all ticks by so quickly. You are so very like your ancestors, did you know that? I have the distinct sense of déjà vu. The same defiance, the same faithless hope in the light?
Dr Paul Merchant: And what do you have faith in?
Pinhead: Nothing. I am SO exquisitely empty.

Ok-- I couldn't make heads or tails of what I was looking at... but Monday was fun!!

Some interesting reveals of character...I'm loving the peripheral characters a little more. I think the premise was more interesting this episode...

Two moments of magnificent writing... with prime character development and teasing reveals... Beckett catching Castle playing laser tag-- both his ability to spend, and that he's completely comfortable in "posh" trappings...
Beckett's "Batman" story-- and the delicacy with which she removes the watch and necklace... That she makes the connection for us; suggests she does see herself as one of the crusaders... and that she does read so much outside the job gives us the 'educated/research based/striving to be better with what she has... since she doesn't have money, the pair of them could be a Batman in reverse-- Except that he doesn't create new gadgets to fight crime. He, like her, uses the brain power he has to piece it together.

I'm lovin this show!! Fun, wit, and a splash of insanity.

I am looking forward to tonight... and grateful that I have a 'real option' tonight from CSI: Miami- my least favorite of the bunch. I like the humor... Love Fillion getting to deliver it... almost as much.... well, maybe even more than the one liners from Adam Baldwin on Chuck.

Seeing Independence Day this holiday week (for me, it was 'spring break') and seeing the very young Adam Baldwin was a riot. His skill being the 'peripheral' character that makes the scene so believable because of the way he reacts to the primary actors... one can see the reason he shows up in so many great works. There were moments I literally roared at his expression... when you're seeing it for the umptininth time, you can look in one direction or another easily, cause you know what's happening elsewhere already.

So... I'm doing a happy dance. Blessings to all!
