I'm going to keepm an eye out for this series I wonder when it will be shown in the UK

--------------------
Female Cenobite: "Didn't open the box." And what was it last time, "Didn't know what the box was?" And yet, we do keep finding each other, don't we?
Pinhead: Oh, Kirsty. So eager to play, so reluctant to admit it.
Female Cenobite: Perhaps you're teasing us. Are you teasing us?

Pinhead: Two minutes. Two centuries. It all ticks by so quickly. You are so very like your ancestors, did you know that? I have the distinct sense of déjà vu. The same defiance, the same faithless hope in the light?
Dr Paul Merchant: And what do you have faith in?
Pinhead: Nothing. I am SO exquisitely empty.

When I had first heard about it, I wasn't sure what to think, but seeing some of the trailers has warmed me to it.

It is better than the trailers lead one to believe.

Well it seems as if we've all stopped posting.

A lot of people I talk with at other boards have given up on the show.

I'm still really enjoying it.

I  Peter and Walter and their interaction.

Some fave moments... Death by Butterfly.mittelgr124.gif

"Walter, what are you doing?"

"Dosing this caterpillar."

"Dosing. As in LSD...?"

"It's a special blend."

I was always curious, so I continued watching. After last night's episode, I'll say I'm now intrigued.

Yay Fringe! cylonanime06.gif

I really, really like this show, and its one of the only few good scifi shows that have been on in the last few years... I think Anna Torv was definately the right woman for the job, she is a great actress, and her character is very believeable. Walter is slowly becoming the bigges legend on the telly :D

I haven't seen the last few episodes (they are still on my DVR), but I can't stand the female lead. There is no chemistry there. But I love Walter, Peter & Astrid!! smile.gif

I was of the same opinion of you until it came back from the break, She is a much better character now. I am one episode behind the US showing I think, it's starting to get very, very good, I think seaosn 1 is laying down the foundation of the show, and I think season 2 will be one continous storyline.

I'm definitely hoping that I have a change of opinion like you did. Sometimes I find it hard to not fastforward during her scenes. tongue.gif

She is gaining more depth... Part of it you have to lay on the writing... still, her work with the sister/ niece is very good. It is the professional one wonders if there is blood or anti-freeze in the veins.

It does seem to be what they expect out of quite a few of the characters. I do enjoy father and son... nothin' like a little family history to spice up a drama!

Fringe returns tomorrow THU16SEP09.

I have 4 more eps in my rewatch of season one to get out of the way.

But this is one of the very best sf shows currently airing. If you are missing this now, you will regret it later.

A kick ass season opener!

The homage to X-Files by way of it being on the TV of a murder victim was a nice touch.

And they also referred to the X Unit at the hearing.
My guess is they might do a cross-over of sorts, if there is enough interest in seeing the X-Files on TV again!
