I have to admit I enjoyed the movie, It was a Big Dumb Action movie like arnie etc used to do in the 80's, plenty of cgi, explosions and hot women after all that what's the point of a plot or anything resembling one?
-------------------- Female Cenobite: "Didn't open the box." And what was it last time, "Didn't know what the box was?" And yet, we do keep finding each other, don't we?
Pinhead: Oh, Kirsty. So eager to play, so reluctant to admit it. Female Cenobite: Perhaps you're teasing us. Are you teasing us? Pinhead: Two minutes. Two centuries. It all ticks by so quickly. You are so very like your ancestors, did you know that? I have the distinct sense of déjà vu. The same defiance, the same faithless hope in the light? Dr Paul Merchant: And what do you have faith in? Pinhead: Nothing. I am SO exquisitely empty. |

Oh, dear. That bad, eh? Well, I'll try to hold my nose... but I do want to see it on a wide screen... I might do a 'movie day'-- I pay for one..... or even two movies... then stay for the day. with a watch, a list of the theater's listings, and there are a few in town that will work this way; that way I'll have some great viewing, in addition to the bad.

It's one of those films where leaving your brain at the door is a must. Even for the "how'd they do that???" We watched Jurassic Park the other day.. and the 13 yr. old caught a set ooops... at the dig site, they move into a tiny little trailer- opening the door one way... transition to the interior, door opens the other way (and the trailer is 3 times the size of the one on the dig set... It isn't rocket science, but you do need to be conscious. -------------------- You can't stop the signal, Mal
